In plain words

A demand letter is a formal note that asks someone to do what they should — pay back money they owe, return your security deposit, or stop something they shouldn't be doing. A clean, well-prepared letter creates a record and very often gets things resolved before anyone has to go to court.

This might be a fit if…

  • You want to put it in writing before going to small claims
  • Someone owes you money or hasn't returned your security deposit
  • You're a landlord or a tenant with a dispute that needs a written notice
  • You're going to court on your own and need the paperwork pulled together
  • You want a proper letter prepared with your facts and your details

One honest note

I'm a registered Legal Document Assistant, not an attorney. I can't give you legal advice, pick documents for you, or speak for you in court. What I can do is prepare your paperwork based on what you tell me. If your situation needs legal advice, please talk to an attorney — I'll tell you straight if I think that's the right call.

Want me to prepare yours?

Tell me what you need and I'll let you know if it's a fit, what happens next, and the price before any work starts.
