Probate paperwork, prepared for you
When family is grieving, the paperwork shouldn't make things harder. We'll go slowly and get it right.
In plain words
In California, probate is usually needed when the estate is bigger than the state's small-estate limit and the person who passed had a house or accounts in their name alone. For smaller estates, there's a simpler form called a small estate affidavit. I prepare these forms based on what you tell me — you direct, and I do the typing and assembly so the packet is clean for the court.
This might be a fit if…
- Someone you love passed and the estate has to go through court
- You need a probate petition prepared
- The estate is small and you want to use the affidavit instead
- You need an inventory and appraisal packet put together
- You need notices to creditors prepared and organized
How I help
- Prepare probate petition forms
- Prepare inventory and appraisal packets
- Prepare small estate affidavits
- Prepare related filing packets and notices to creditors
- Organize the whole packet and read every page with you before filing
What to expect
Call or send me a note so we can talk
You tell me which forms you want; I prepare them based on your instructions
I lay everything out clearly and double-check the packet
We read it together before anything gets filed
One honest note
I'm a registered Legal Document Assistant, not an attorney. I can't give you legal advice, pick documents for you, or speak for you in court. What I can do is prepare your paperwork based on what you tell me. If your situation needs legal advice, please talk to an attorney — I'll tell you straight if I think that's the right call.
