Wills and living trusts
Put your wishes on paper while you can. We'll go slowly, page by page, until it says exactly what you want.
In plain words
A will (last will and testament) tells your family who gets the house, the savings, and your other things after you're gone. A living trust is a different way to pass things on without going through probate court. Many of my clients use both: a trust for the big things, and a will to catch anything the trust missed. I prepare these papers based on what you tell me. I'm not an attorney, so I can't pick which one is right for your situation.
This might be a fit if…
- You want to write your first will
- You want a living trust so the family doesn't have to deal with probate
- You want a backup will to go with your trust
- You want to spell out who gets the house, the cars, the savings
- You need to name someone to look after younger children or grandchildren
- Your old will or trust is out of date and needs to be redone
How I help
- Prepare your will based on what you tell me
- Type up your living trust, slowly and carefully
- Prepare a pour-over will to go with your trust
- Lay out every page neatly, ready to sign and notarize
- Read each page with you before you sign anything

One honest note
I'm a registered Legal Document Assistant, not an attorney. I can't give you legal advice, pick documents for you, or speak for you in court. What I can do is prepare your paperwork based on what you tell me. If your situation needs legal advice, please talk to an attorney — I'll tell you straight if I think that's the right call.
